This education kit contains resources for Years 2-12 students and their teachers who are studying electricity and magnetism, and are visiting the Lightning Room – the Victoria University High Voltage Theatre at Scienceworks.
The study of electricity and magnetism has curriculum links to the Science, Mathematics, Information & Communications Technology (ICT), and Design, Creativity & Technology domains of the Victorian Essential Learning Standards.
The kit consists of teacher notes on visiting the Lightning Room, background information on electricity, a resource list, and a range of activities for students to do at school or at home.
