Our homes are a feast of adventures in science, engineering and biology. The House Secrets exhibition explores the science concepts behind the familiar objects in our homes - the food we eat, the appliances we use, and the living things that share our environment. A broad range of interactive exhibits engage students as they explore the science of familiar objects found in each room of the house. The House Secrets Education Kit contains excursion pathway activity sheets that can be used to guide and engage students with the exhibition.
Curriculum relevance: forces, energy, simple machines, technology, acids and bases, chemical reactions.
Available Terms 1-4, Monday-Friday.
Session times: 11am, 1pm.
Session duration: 60 minutes.
